Cummins Westport ISX12 G engine has received certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), meeting both the EPA 2013 regulations and the new greenhouse gas and fuel-efficiency rules that will take effect in 2014. Limited production of the ISX12 G begins in April, with full production scheduled to start in August.
The Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks with the Westport WiNG™ Power System will soon be available to Canadian customers. To serve the Canadian market, Westport is opening an integration centre in Windsor, Ontario with trucks expected to be ready for delivery to customers by late June 2013.
